Amazon Driver Beats the Heat by diving into customer’s pool

After completing his delivery, an Amazon driver took a unique approach to beat the heat. He dived headfirst into the swimming pool of a customer.

He took advantage of the hot weather to cool down, apparently unaffected by his attire. This included his shoes and hat. He dived headfirst into the pool at the Gardena residence of the customer. The security cameras at the residence captured the incident on June 30. It quickly gained viral media attention.

ViralHog reported the customer included a note with the delivery instructions inviting the driver, in a playful manner, to go for a swim. The driver responded to the unique invitation by placing the parcel outside the rear door and then making an amusing watery detour.

The driver dives into the pool while wearing his shoes and clothes. The driver was grateful to the homeowner for allowing him to use the pool while they were away. He wasted no time in taking advantage of the opportunity to cool off.

It is hard to blame the driver if he jumps at the chance to use the swimming pool. Whether you believe in global climate change or not, it’s hard to deny how hot the summer has been.

As parts of the United States experienced a Heatwave in recent weeks, Death Valley, Phoenix and Las Vegas recorded some of their highest temperatures ever earlier this month. The summer of 2018 was also one of the warmest in recent history. Experts noted that July’s extreme heat was so extreme, that it was already the hottest ever recorded month.

In July, Earth’s global average surface temperature was 2.02 degrees higher than the long-term average of 60.4, a significant margin. It was a remarkable milestone as July became hottest in recorded history for 174 years. This was also the 533rd month in a row with temperatures above the norm. A remarkable streak that lasted over 44 years.

It’s easy to understand why this delivery man jumped at the chance of cooling off in his client’s pool. He should have removed his shoes first.
