Fluidra’s acquisition of Fluidra in Germany will strengthen its market leadership and provide a more complete product range to a wider customer base.
Meranus Group was established more than 40 years ago. It is a well-respected swimming pool equipment distributor in Germany. The Meranus Group includes Meranus Haan GmbH and Meranus Lauchhammer GmbH as well as Aquacontrol GmbH which manufactures swimming pool control and dosing technology. The company’s anticipated revenues for the year ending 31/12/2022 are more than EUR25 million. Fluidra will be able to strengthen its position in Germany and offer a wider product range to a larger customer base.

This transaction will generate significant synergies that will benefit our customers and suppliers as well as our employees.

The transaction is subjected to competition clearance and other usual closing conditions. It is expected that the transaction will close in the first quarter 2023.
