Earlier this year, we announced the 2025 recipients of the Pentair Foundation’s Water Grants program. The Pentair Foundation awarded $1.25 million in grant funding to eight water-focused programs in support of its mission to support and advance inclusive and sustainable communities.

Today, we’re spotlighting the amazing work of our grantee partners under our “Enjoy Water” grants, which strive to increase water safety and improve water-related wellbeing, have accomplished with Pentair’s support. From July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025, these organizations helped to provide over 6,800 hours of free or reduced-cost water safety or swim safety instructions, including over 1,100 people who received free or reduced-cost swim lessons. Together, these organizations are helping people to safely enjoy water.

USA Swimming Foundation

Established in 2004, the USA Swimming Foundation works to strengthen the sport by Saving Lives, Building Champions, and Impacting Communities around the country. Whether providing grant funding to members of their swim lesson provider network, supporting the dreams of National Swim Team members, or growing swimming in traditionally underserved populations, the USA Swimming Foundation is proud to serve as the philanthropic arm of USA Swimming.

Pentair’s support for the USA Swimming Foundation has allowed the organization to continue to expand their impact for “learn to swim” support, Community Impact grants, and college/university programs. Two examples of impact through the college/university programs are Elizabeth City State University and Texas Southern University, which are utilizing the funding to revamp and expand their aquatics programming. This includes offering resources for campus students to learn about water safety programming and competitive swimming opportunities that might not have been offered at an earlier age. The goal of this type of investment is to grow future generations that feel comfortable in the water and will reframe perceptions and soften barriers to entry into swimming.

V3 Sports

Based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, V3 Sports’ mission is to elevate the local community through wellness, fitness and education. The V3 Center offers a broad range of services to support its mission, including a Boys and Girls Club, fitness floor, hydrotherapy pool, 25-yard pool, and family water safety workshops.

Pentair is proud to support V3 Sports and promote water safety and wellness in the Twin Cities area. In their first year of operations, V3 Sports has offered 10,000 hours of swim instruction, with over 25,000 families visiting the center annually for events, programs, training, competitions, events and more.

We’re incredibly proud of the work the USA Swimming Foundation and V3 Sports have done to make an impact in water-related safety and well-being. Together with the Pentair Foundation, we’re empowering a broader community of swimmers to safely enjoy water!
