Deckorators, a leader in stylish and durable composite decking and accessories, has named Michelle Hendricks, director of marketing, effective March 2025.
Hendricks has been a key contributor to the ongoing success of Deckorators since first joining UFP Industries nearly six years ago. Hendricks joined Deckorators as a category marketing specialist and, by 2021, had moved into the role of category marketing manager.
Her leadership during this time covered many facets of the business, including the launch and build-out of the brand’s mineral-based Surestone technology, which has been pivotal in driving sales and market share as it is the only product of its kind within the competitive category. Additionally, Hendricks has led the growth of Deckorators’ contractor network, expanding the program from 500 to over 1,500 certified pros nationwide. These professional contractors leverage the growing Deckorators suite of innovative decking products to help homeowners imagine the full potential of their outdoor spaces.
“We’re very pleased to have Michelle in this role,” says Deckorators Executive Vice President Ryan Kemp. “Her strategic support has continued to help gain market share for Deckorators’ products and generate significant brand awareness. We’re happy to recognize the strong body of work Michelle has delivered.”
As director of marketing, Hendricks will focus on the strategic management and guidance of a growing landscape of expanded consumer and trade marketing and product initiatives, including the brand’s multi-year sponsorship with the PGA TOUR, and the brand’s annual Outdoor Living Report, which provides authentic industry perspective and informative and inspiring trends in outdoor living design.
“I’m excited to step into this new leadership role,” says Hendricks. “As we continue to strengthen Deckorators’ presence among our core contractor base and find new avenues to expand our brand conversation in the consumer landscape, we remain our forward-focused approach to help shape the industry and ensure homeowners achieve the outdoor living space they’ve imagined.”
