IPSSA, the Independent Pool and Spa Service Association, is proud to share that it’s Southeast Valley Arizona IPSSA Chapter donated $10,000 to their local Swimming Pool Fence Program. Child Crisis Arizona, in partnership with several other community organizations, is addressing water safety in their community by providing free pool fences for those in need. Knowing first-hand that pool fences greatly reduce the risk of drownings in swimming pools, the Southeast Valley IPSSA Chapter of Arizona has joined the water safety effort by raising and donating $10,000.00 to install free fences. As pool service professionals, IPSSA members know the importance of drowning prevention and safety around swimming pools. “IPSSA members are on the frontline servicing and observing the safety protocols in place in backyard swimming pools and we know that we can have a significant and immediate impact on the safety of the pools we service and on the greater community in which we live. Donating to this proactive organization shows IPSSA’s commitment to water safety,” says Rose Smoot, Executive Director of IPSSA
IPSSA is an organization committed to the importance of promoting and supporting water safety awareness in our industry. “IPSSA’s goal is to help heighten awareness of safety in the summer months when so many people are swimming and enjoying water in the summer heat,” says Smoot. IPSSA is also an active member of the National Drowning Prevention Alliance (NDPA).
