Modern Recreational Technologies is pleased to announce that Marty Greenwell has joined its business development team effective February 19, 2024. Marty will be assuming the responsibilities of business development growth manager for Aquatics and Parks. In this role, he will be responsible for identifying and securing large opportunities in the pool, waterpark, and aquatics market segments for MRT.
Marty comes to MRT with 30-plus years in the coatings industry including stops at Devoe, ICI, PPG, and Kelley. He has held many positions in his career in the sales and marketing functions. Recently, Marty was the national manager for Corporate Accounts at PPG and, most recently, the VP of sales and marketing for Kelley Technical Coatings.
Marty is a lifelong resident of Louisville, Ky., where he and his wife Angela and their three children, and several dogs, live today. He earned his MBA degree in his hometown at the University of Louisville, attending night school while ramping up the coatings career during the day. Outside of work, Marty enjoys golfing, hiking, and attending concerts and sporting events and recently was coaxed out of retirement to resume a long dormant recreational softball career. Marty has expressed his excitement in joining the MRT team and looks forward to working with everyone to drive success.
