Pool Corporation (POOLCORP) has acquired the wholesale distribution assets of Jackson, Mississippi-based Shoreline Pool Distribution LLC (Shoreline).

Shoreline serves Gulf Coast markets from distribution centres in Jackson and Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Shoreline’s owners, Tommy and Shane Draughn also own and operate CPS Pools and Spas, a swimming pool products and supplies retail store in Jackson.

CPS Pools and Spas is not included in the acquisition, and Tommy and Shane Draughn will continue to operate it as an independent retail outlet.

“The Draughn family has established a long history of outstanding customer service to local contractors and retailers. Combined with POOLCORP’s local leadership and sales centres, we will provide expanded resources and product offerings focused on further improving service and support to Shoreline’s customers. We are pleased to add Shoreline to the POOLCORP network and to expand in this growing marketplace,” says Peter D. Arvan, POOLCORP president and CEO.

“Joining the POOLCORP network will provide broader product opportunities and marketing programs that will enhance our customers’ experience,” added Shane Draughn, president of Shoreline Distribution.

As one of world’s largest distributors, POOLCORP operates approximately 435 sales centres in North America, Europe, and Australia, through which it distributes more than 200,000 products to roughly 120,000 wholesale customers.
