President
Jorge Martínez del Rosal founded
Watermanía Group in 1993 with a vision
to build high-quality residential and
commercial swimming pools. What
began as a small endeavor driven by
faith and determination has grown into
a leading pool construction company
in Guatemala, Central America and
the Caribbean. Over the past 31 years,
Watermanía has completed more than
1,800 projects, expanding its expertise to
Belize, Honduras, the Cayman Islands, El
Salvador and Panama.

General Manager
Watermanía’s foundation is built on
integrity, excellence and professionalism.
“Our vision is to be the most successful
pool company in Latin America, known
for superior craftsmanship and the best
materials,” says Jorge. “We create spaces
that enhance both property value and
quality of life.”
Watermanía prioritizes customer
relationships and satisfaction. A standout
moment was delivering a pool to an
eager family who immediately jumped
in after the last piece of equipment was
installed, a testament to the excitement
and joy their work brings to clients. But
perhaps the most memorable project
was the donation of a swimming
pool to a foundation for children with
Down syndrome. Designed, built,
and completed in just two days, this
initiative demonstrated the company’s
commitment to giving back to the
community.
Watermanía Group’s showroom,
The Water Room, was designed to
provide an immersive experience for
customers. Visitors can explore fully
operational jacuzzis, active jets, pool
lighting, filtration systems, pumps and
heaters — all functioning in real time.
Digital screens display the company’s
most impressive projects, while seasonal
promotions, exclusive discounts, and
special offers for loyal customers
enhance the shopping experience.
Strategically located in the city, the
showroom is easily accessible, with
ample parking available.
Watermanía Group leverages digital
tools to stay connected with customers.
“Our presence on Instagram and
Facebook allows us to share projects,
maintenance tips and exclusive
promotions in real-time,” explains Jorge.
Additionally, the company provides digital
customer service via WhatsApp, social
media, and email to ensure immediate
support for inquiries and quote requests.
On top of blogs and guides to help
customers, Watermanía also publishes
coffee table books that feature some
standout designs to serve as inspiration
for potential clients. And with the
company’s deep commitment to
corporate social responsibility, proceeds
from their book sales go to children’s
foundations and nursing homes,
reinforcing their dedication to making a
positive impact.
One of Watermanía’s greatest
marketing successes was its Black Week
Campaign. “We wanted to offer our
customers something extraordinary,”
says Jorge. “The result was beyond our
expectations — selling 10 spas in one
week, which typically takes a month. It
was a historic milestone, increasing our
sales by 200% compared to the previous
year.”
Looking ahead, Watermanía Group
has ambitious plans for the next five
years. The company will launch an
e-commerce platform to facilitate online
purchases, complete with payment
and shipping options. Additionally, a
custom mobile app will be developed to
provide customers with order tracking,
maintenance tutorials and personalized
recommendations. Expansion plans
include opening two more headquarters
in Guatemala in key tourism and
residential areas, as well as strengthening
operations in Central America, Belize, the
Cayman Islands, Antigua and Anguilla.
The company also aims to further
integrate into community events,
including sponsoring golf tournaments,
water-themed art expos, and competitive
swimming marathons. “We believe in
building more than just pools,” says
Jorge. “We create experiences and
memories, and we want to continue
elevating the industry through innovation
and outreach.”
